Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving insurance sales team as a Cold Caller and Appointment Setter, where you’ll serve as the crucial first point of contact for qualified prospects seeking life-changing financial solutions. You’ll work as an assistant to senior management, utilizing proven scripts and established lead systems to warm up pre-qualified prospects and schedule valuable appointments. This role offers the perfect blend of structure and flexibility, allowing you to develop your communication and sales skills in a supportive environment while contributing directly to helping families protect their financial security. With potential for growth from part-time to full-time based on performance, this position provides an excellent foundation for building a career in the financial services industry.


Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to pre-qualified leads using your provided scripts and lead packs
  • Conduct basic qualification conversations with prospects, asking fundamental questions like “why did you apply” and “do you have time right now”
  • Warm up leads through professional and friendly phone interactions
  • Schedule appointments for prospects who are available and interested to speak with you
  • Follow established scripts while being able to adapt and go off-script when necessary
  • Notify you immediately when prospects are ready for presentations
  • Maintain professional representation as an assistant to senior management at Globe Life

Requirements:

  • Experience in telemarketing, cold calling, or appointment setting roles
  • Ability to follow scripts while maintaining natural conversation flow
  • Strong communication skills and professional phone presence
  • Comfortable with basic qualification questioning techniques
  • Ability to work within your time zone
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently from home
  • Expectation of performance-based compensation structure
