Job Description

Jones Group Services are residential and multi-family home painter contractors. We are hiring professional Painters with five years or more of experience. You know how to cut in and know the paint terms, backroll, runs, curtains, holiday, and skipper. You will be tested to identify your skill requirements. You must know how to repair drywall or patch nail pops. You must have the tools to complete the work and have reliable transportation to the office and work sites.

Job Type: Full-time.

Compensation: Dependent on experience - Rapid advancement opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • MUST be able to know Latex from Oil Base.
  • Assess the state of a property’s interior walls to determine how much or little painting needs to be done.
  • Patch, prep, and paint interior walls VERY efficiently.
  • Remove and replace damaged drywall, either small patches or entire sheets.
  • Tape, mud, and prep new drywall.
  • Serious attention to detail and pride in work required.
  • Must maintain a professional image.
  • Able to load and unload trucks.
  • Drive trucks to job sites.
  • Communicate with co-workers, and office personnel as needed.
  • Being extremely responsive and attentive.
  • Successfully multi-tasking throughout the day, wearing multiple hats.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, quick-thinking environment.
  • Not afraid of heights.

Position Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Being open to travel is a plus.
  • Highly motivated, energetic individual with a positive attitude.
  • Must be a team player and have excellent communication skills.
  • Able to make decisions under tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently and perform duties utilizing excellent time management.
  • Must effectively manage your calendar to maximize the day’s to-dos.

Education/Training/Experience:

  • Valid Drivers License.
  • High School Diploma.
  • 5+ years of painting experience, Team experience a HUGE plus.
