Manual Engine Lathe Operator | North Las Vegas, NV
Nexeo HR is seeking a highly skilled Manual Engine Lathe Operator to join a leading supplier of rollers, supplies, and services in the flexographic printing industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on prototype machining projects where precision and expertise are critical. Responsibilities
• Set up and operate a 4-jaw chuck engine lathe for prototype machining of printing press rollers
• Maintain tight tolerances of +/- .001 on high-value components
• Machine 1–5 parts per job (prototype focus, not high-volume production)
• Operate additional equipment including Bridgeport mills and drill presses
• Work independently in a precision-driven, detail-oriented environment
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications
• Overtime may be required as business demands fluctuate, including occasional Saturdays
Qualifications
• 10+ years of machining experience preferred (less may be considered for the right candidate)
• Proven ability to set up and operate manual lathes with precision
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with quality control processes
• Experience with cylindrical grinding and/or welding is a plus
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver consistent, accurate results
Pay
$30.00 per hour
Schedule
Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Occasional Saturdays as needed
