Job Summary:

Evergreen Healthcare Group is currently seeking a Medical Records Specialist to work with all our entire community portfolio. Additionally, this role will heavily interact with regional and divisional leadership as well as the Director of Health Informatics. This individual will be responsible for medical records data requests and ensuring timely delivery of requested data using our electronic health records system.

Essential Functions:

• Receives medical records file requests from individuals in-field.
• Organization and prioritization of requests on a continual basis.
• Prompt fulfillment of medical records requests across the entire portfolio of accounts.
• Matrix-management with Director of Health Informatics, Regional and Divisional Vice Presidents of Operations, and others as needed.
• Confirms medical record information is protected and kept confidential.
• Identifies incomplete documentation (audits) and reports to individuals responsible for completion.

Education, Licensure, And Experience:

• Required: High school graduate or equivalent
• Required: Extensive knowledge of Point Click Care (PCC)
• Preferred: One-year experience as a medical records professional within the long-term care sector
