Job Description

Guadalupe Radio is a non-profit religious organization, located in El Monte, CA, that seeks to bring to light Christ and his Gospel by means of media communication.

Guadalupe Radio is currently looking for a full-time Radio Board Operator.

Work in collaboration with the operations manager and production manager, talent and other contributors to produce the radio programs in a consistent manner through the operation of controls, the interaction of the listeners, phone lines, social media and control of the streaming of the video programming of each program. The Board Operator will be in charge of operating each program and facilitating talent's needs during the live emission for optimum production of the programs according to the production guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the master control for audio and video content.
• Ensure optimal audiovisual diffusion, levels, and quality of on-the-air signal in all platforms where audio and video are emitted.
• Ensure all master control dispositive is clean, in order and in a great functioning state.
• Provide Talent with all the information of the day such as campaigns, specific messages, practical advice, special dates and other aspects related to the programming.
• Maintain a high level of quality of the programs.
• Support the producer in all daily operations of the radio.
• Logistical support to the team in special events in and out of the station.
• Support the pre-production of radio events. (interviews, biographies, records, etc).

Requirements:

• Able to work in a team environment and contribute with the producer to achieve the desired objectives of each project.
• Experience working with edition programs such as Adobe Audition.
• Excellent communication and computer skills (Google G-Suite).
• Proactive with a great sense of urgency and ease to adapt in a fast pace environment.
• Able to solve problems in a creative and innovative manner.
• Open-minded with an ability to change with a positive attitude.
• Able to work different shifts, including weekends as needed.
• Bilingual Spanish-English required
