About Brillante Academy

Brillante Academy Public Charter School opened its doors in August 2023 and currently serves over 350 students from the Rio Grande Valley in the Mission area and surrounding communities. In the 2025-2026 school year, Brillante will have PreK3 through 3rd grade and will continue to grow one grade-level a year until 8th grade. Over the next decade, we plan to expand our network across the state of Texas to serve over 7,000 students. The Charter Management Organization (CMO) for Brillante Academy is Seton Education Partners , a Catholicly inspired organization that also manages the Seton Teaching Fellows missionary program and El Camino , an optional after-school Catholic faith formation program. Seton Education Partners is also the CMO for our sister schools, the Brilla Schools Network , which are having a transformational impact in Bronx, NY.

Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and mission-driven team member to join our Operations Team. The Operations team is responsible for designing and implementing efficient day-to-day systems and routines that contribute to a joyful school culture and the highest-levels of learning, instruction and organizational stewardship (finance, data, compliance, asset management, facilities, transportation, food, etc.). The primary responsibility of this role is to safely escort students between the front office and modular classrooms when they arrive late or leave early, ensuring student safety and timely transitions at all times. The role also provides supervisory monitoring of students during non-instructional periods, such as lunch and arrival/dismissal times. they will help monitor and support students during non-instructional time such as lunch, dismissal/arrival. In addition, the role will provide support to the Operations Team with various tasks. This is an hourly position which will report to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications 

  • Belief in the Brillante Academy mission, model and values
  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Experience working with elementary aged students, preferred
